it's beginning to look a lot like...

Christmas!

Early this month, we went to hunt for a tree. It was sort of like going through a jungle, except all the trees were the same color. After a quick search, we found our tree!

We also went exploring and I met a giant Elmo and then a nice person who made me a flower balloon. We saw some trains, and even Santa again. He's everywhere! Although I didn't go up to say hi this time since I already did before.
Then we came home and mommy surprised me with a new Christmas ornament for the year. It was a cute small snow globe that had a snowman inside. My name was even on it! Mommy and daddy thought we'd start a new tradition by giving me a new ornament each year and letting me be the first to hang it on the tree. I was very excited! So excited that when they gave me the ornament, I swung it a few times and then... SMASH. Oh oh. It sure made a loud noise when it hit the floor and even surprised mommy and daddy since they weren't even certain the snow globe was made out of glass. All the snow globe gook came out, including the little snow inside. It was kind of sad.

Then they handed me another (paper) ornament to play with and it was nice too! Mommy tried to teach me how to hang it on the tree, but I had more fun taking it off the tree. Then it was time for bed. The next day, I came downstairs, and the tree was decorated. I noticed that all the nice (breakable) ones were way up high. Hmm.

Other than that, we've been trying to stay warm. I got to try out my snow pants last weekend when it snowed. Very fun! Not enough snow to go sledding yet, but daddy is all ready and has the hill picked out for when we get a BIG snowfall.
