daddy's weekend!

This was daddy's kind of weekend. First, we visited some friends who just sailed across the Atlantic Ocean. We thought we'd just meet them for breakfast, but before we knew it we were off to their sailboat - and off for a day of sailing. We stopped by an island for a nice hike. Later that day, daddy and his friend went off in search of mussels. I would have gone except I was asleep. Something about the natural rocking of the boat....
When I woke up, we had a nice treat of mussels, which I liked! YUM. Here's daddy and me sailing back after a great day!
Then, after the nice day of sailing, we headed to the Cape for a few days of rest and relaxation. We went to Provincetown for some Lobster on Father's day! And then shared some ice cream at Sundae School (I woke up from a nap JUST IN TIME). I think daddy thought he'd get the entire sundae to himself, but he ended up sharing like a good sharer. It rained a lot while we were on the Cape, but that meant we got to spend more cozy time together as a family. A nice retreat! Next time, maybe it will stop raining long enough for us to get to the beach! Soon...
