Today was the beginning of going cold turkey. For diapers that is. Quite fitting that it's a 3 day long weekend so mommy and daddy have extra time to spend with me. Also, it's Canadian Thanksgiving on Monday - so gobble gobble!
The morning started my quest for freedom from diapers. Finally, I get to wear my cool Hello Kitty underwear that mommy and daddy bought awhile back. I've been wanting to wear big kid pants for awhile now. Little did I know what it would mean.
Accident #1 occurred mid-morning. Accident #2 occurred about 10 minutes after #1. Hmm. What's going on? Then there were more accidents - we lost count. I think mommy was starting to wonder if this was a good idea.
Then something happened. Mommy left to get groceries while I was taking a nap. When she got back, I had a BIG surprise for her. I was on the potty - and I did it! And then later, I did it again. And then one more time. I am accumulating a LOT of sesame street stickers, I tell you!
I wonder what tomorrow will bring.
