9 1/2 month update

Happy girls! (Kate on left)

Ok, so just how big are these not-so-little babies getting?

Ella: 

Height - 29 3/4 inches (98th percentile)

Weight - 21 lbs, 8 oz (91st percentile)

Head Circumference - 46 cm (94th percentile)

Teeth - two on bottom, canines coming in on top (we have baby dracula)

Mobility  - sitting, rocking on hands/knees or feet, scooting backwards, rolling all over the place to get what she wants. Claps and shakes her head/dances to music (must take after mom).

Kate:

Height - 29 inches (91st percentile)

Weight - 19 lbs 6 oz (69th percentile)

Head Circumference -  44 cm (53rd percentile)

Teeth - three on bottom.

Mobility - sitting, rocking on hands/knees, spinning around on her belly, scoots a little backwards. Still loves to do her pilates crunch moves and has abs of steel. Prefers to sing to music, at the top of her little lungs (must take after dad).

We even sit alike!

Food - eating lots of it obviously: congee, pasta, bagels, pears, bananas, applesauce, carrots, sweet potatoes, mangoes, peaches, cheese, yogurt, avocados, watermelon, oranges, chicken, etc. In general, making a HUGE mess every time they eat.

Yum - toes! (Kate)

Both love the lake, kiddie pool, music (summer concerts). Let's see how they do next week while we are camping on the Cape. Should be interesting to see how we all do in a yurt. Nobody will sleep - or we'll all be going to bed at 8 pm. :)

Three girls in this family = a lot of pink. Mommy actually doesn't like pink. Can you tell?

Big sister Julia has been busy also this summer with various camps, swim lessons, and taking care of her little sisters. Can't wait to show Ella and Kate the cool yurt next week!
