survival week

We did it! Survived a week of yurt camping on the cape with a 5 year old and two 10 month old babies. Whew.

And we slept. And played in sand. And had baths at the campsite. And roasted marshmallows (oh wait, Ella and Kate missed that this year). And started crawling forward (Ella).

What an adventure indeed. Lots of firsts for Ella and Kate. First time at Nickerson State Park. First time at Mayflower beach - first beach really! First Grumpy's breakfast - where they inhaled pancakes. First time in a hammock. First time at Sundae School - and watching daddy eat his famous oreo/fresh blueberry/m&m/whipped cream/cherry on top sundae.

Julia had a big first too - first fish caught on her hot pink princess fishing rod. Who says princesses can't fish?
