While the snow started out fun and exciting since it finally came on Jan 24 - enough to build a snowman - it quickly turned south from there.
Snow day (off school) 1 & 2: Jan 27, 28.
Snow day 3 & 4: Feb 2, 3.
Snow day 5 & 6: Feb 9,10.
Total inches of snowfall - ~ 70 in Boston area. Records shattered.
We are making the most of it. Kids are enjoying all the extra time at home supposed although I think everyone will be happy to be back in school tomorrow. Fingers crossed...
Various photos from snowy season. The snowman was built during very first snowfall, right before the snow days started. Soon after, he was completely buried, not to be seen for another 6 weeks.
Oh yes, in this time frame, we also attended a lovely piano recital (on Superbowl Sunday). Julia did great. Video is somewhat shaky since Ella kept bumping mommy. (It's a bigger file so we had to upload on YouTube). Not sure if it worked... ugh. Will try again to upload if it doesn't.
UPDATE: Ok, we are way late with this posting which was started in Feb. It's now April 20. Oops. I blame snow for making us so crazy in terms of catching up in March and part of April. Better late than never?
Our next post will come soon. And update on life after snow hopefully. ha ha!
