This was a crazy week at daycare.
On Mon, Julia went into a "tizzy" and wouldn't stop crying for a few hours. They say Mondays can be hard on the kids because it's adjustment day and they're coming off the weekend at home. Eventually, she took her bottle on her own terms, and settled down and was happy again.
On Tues, Julia got her first kiss from a boy named Matthew. He crawled over and apparently kissed her gently on the forehead. What did she do? She cried.
On Wed, she got her first boo boo report.
Where: left side of forehead.
When: 1:50 pm.
Action Taken: Hugs, cold compress.
Comments: another child was trying to pull up on a toy, it tipped and "brushed"Julia's forehead.
The next day, when we showed up for drop-off in the morning, the daycare teachers were re-arranging the room, to separate the mobile kiddies from those who can't motor around yet. Guess the incident got them spooked.
On Thurs, Julia came home with some sniffles. Aih ya.
On Fri, Mom and Julia stayed home! The latter is catching up on her sleep. The former is catching up on her sanity.
