comin' through

Here I come! Suddenly, I am aware of everything around me. Things that I never saw before - like cheerios on the floor, power cords, plant leaves, and even the smallest spec of lint - are things I see very clearly now that I can motor around. I am keeping mommy and daddy on their toes because one minute I am playing with my blocks, the next minute, I have made my way behind a chair by the CD rack. I like hiding behind furniture. Even my teachers at daycare caught me crawling behind a swing and hanging out in the corner. Of course, they thought it was adorable and even played peek-a-boo with me while I was there.

Here's one of the many videos mommy took today of me crawling. I am even learning to pick up speed - which is easier when I am focused on getting to something I want.

I had a great weekend. We spent some time in a park on Sat - strolling along the path and then hanging out by the river. Mommy says she can't wait until spring so we can get more nice days to be outside. Maybe by then I'll have figured out how to walk around and can get into trouble that way!
