first day - again
I went to my new school/daycare today for my first full day. And guess what? I got put in with the big kids. All last week, mommy and I were visiting what I thought was going to be my new classroom. There were a lot of babies in that room. Lots! All drinking bottles and doing lots of crying. I don't really drink bottles anymore, except for first thing in the morning. And I don't hang out in bouncy seats anymore watching the world go by. I like to explore!
So, mommy decided to see how I'd do with the bigger kids. I hung out outside with them in the playground. I listened to stories with them during circle time. I ate lunch with them. I napped with them. And I played some more. So, even though I can't walk to keep up with the big kids, I am getting close. Thus, I get to stay!
My previous teachers would be so proud of me. Hi Kimmy and Becky! We miss you! Here's my note today that will make you smile: "I had a good day in Toddler 1. I played outside in the sand. Miss A blew bubbles for us. We sang the bee song. My new friends were really interested in getting to know me, but I told them I needed a little space. :) I explored the new classroom a little."
Some things never change!
