The pigglet saga continues. First we are hospitalized. Then we are put on bed rest. Then we break out in an odd rash/hives that started 4 days ago and show no real signs of letting up.
This past Monday was our first visit to the doctor since being discharged. Visit when well overall and hives don't seem to be the type that would concern the doctor. Then, all of a sudden, I start having a difficult time staying focused and looking at the doctor and become lightheaded and almost pass out. Doctor said it's common to become lightheaded because so much blood is being allocated to the baby. Ok.
After some time, we finally are able to get up to leave (after I am fed some juice and cookies). Downstairs in the same building, I manage to tweak my right shoulder which has been giving me problems since the pregnancy started (common joint issues due to hormones).
That's when Jack just looked at me, shook his head and uttered the words.."you are almost a train wreck." All I could do was burst out laughing.
Suddenly, we have greater insight into all the times our parents would tell us stories of what they went through to have us and/or raise us. No more eye rolling now.
