The Easter bunny came today too! Although you wouldn't know with what's left of the chocolate. mmmm breakfast.
It's been a birthday week!
Charles and Kelly came to visit on Tues evening to celebrate Jack's birthday early in the week. We were supposed to be celebrating Jack's big day down in Virginia Beach where I think his friends were gearing up to shave his head. Hmm. Maybe the recent events with pigglet were a blessing in disguise? Some pics - note the cake. : )
Last night, our friends in Philly (Sarah, Ed, Mike and Mimi) came by to surprise Jack for his birthday. Of course, we had to have his favorite foods - cheese pizza from Lorenzo's and Java Chip ice cream.
Then, a little excursion today for some excitement. Off to a restaurant for a Sunday/Easter/birthday brunch. Stayed off my feet for the most part so it wasn't really much different than sitting on the couch at home! (My reasoning anyways). Restaurant is located in a very cool building that has a crazy light show most evenings - sometimes you see twinkling lights, sometimes you see patterns like the pink ribbon for breast cancer awareness month or the red cross symbol. Someone must get creative making up new light shows to distract drivers passing by.
Some (incriminating) photos of the outing. Excursions are far and few between these days but it was for a special occasion and pigglet was enjoying being fed lots of new, delicious food (as gaged by all the movement and kicking). Will s/he be a foodie? Who knows.
