summer wrap up

It's almost the end of summer. Where did it go this year?

I've had a good August with many activities including blueberry picking, Storyland, camping with some friends from the neighborhood, and even a ballet recital. There were lots of other activities in the works, but it seems like getting around is getting more difficult for mommy so we're going to take it a little easier now. Or, daddy and I will have to go on adventures ourselves for the next while.

In the meantime, daddy (and mommy) have been frantically getting ready for the babies. I've moved to my big girl room, and just got to decorate the walls with cool butterflies and flowers! My old room - aka the baby room - is filling up quickly with furniture. It seemed like a big room before two cribs were placed in there.

Other than getting the room ready for the babies, daddy has been pulling all these great things out of the basement - like cool toys that I've never seen before (errr...that I don't recognize at all says mommy), and lots of teeny tiny clothing, which I apparently USED to wear?? I don't remember any of it!!!

Talk about laundry! Mommy was tired of folding after two days, only to later realize that all the newborn clothing is for summertime. Umm, it's not going to be summertime when the babies are born....D'oh!
