it's a girl!!!

It's a brave new world out there and our pigglet decided to grace us early with her presence - first day of week 35 to be exact since it was after midnight.

Water broke at 4:45 pm on Wed, May 2.
Delivery at 2:43 am on Thurs, May 3.
Weight: 5 lbs 8 oz
Length: 19 inches
Head full of black hair.

Name: Julia Anne Shiao-Ling Hulburd

We all came home from the hospital yesterday (Sat). She is a true wonder and joy for us.

Here are some early photos. We will update with more details of our hospital stay as we get used to our new addition to the family. And add more photos too.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I just got your email. What a beautiful little girl.

You know how some babies look like babies while others look like wise little people? I would say Julia falls into the wise little person category.

Who would have thought that we would end up having kids around the same age after all that has happened in our lives!

Computer Science at Brookswood seems like a long time ago!

I knew when Aunt Elaine called both of our cell phones and our home phone that something must be up! We are so happy and excited for you. We are also so grateful that you took the time to post photos so we could share your joy! I hope your first nights at home were peaceful and restful. Can’t wait to see you all again soon.
