trial run

I went to daycare for the first time today!

I have three teachers: Kim, Becky, and Ann Marie.
I arrived sleeping in my car seat. And when I woke up, there were all these smiling faces looking at me.

I have my own crib and cubbyhole where I can keep my personal things from home to make me comfortable. So far, I am the only girl in my infant room - the other three are boys who are older and can sit already. But, I hear there is another girl coming next week who is small like me! That's good. Someone I can play with.

Here's my report card for today:
Julia is such a sweetie! She enjoyed lots of cuddles and getting to know all her teachers today. She did drink her bottle fine with only little fussing in between ounces. See you Thursday!! :)

When mommy came to pick me up, I was sleeping in Ann Marie's arms. Ha ha! I knew they'd want to hold me so I could sleep.

Kim told mommy that I had a pout - the kind of pout which was going to mean I was going to get everything that I wanted! Mommy told her that this just started this week. Hmm, what does this mean?

It was a partial day at daycare - from 10 - 2:30 pm. Mommy picked me up and I crashed on the drive home. It's been a long day! Whew. I get to go back on Thursday for another trial day just so we can all get used to each other. Then I won't see everyone again until mommy returns to work full time in September.
